Five unique Cork on a Fork events to book, including black tie supper in a cathedral

Cork on a Fork's signature long-table event returns fully weather-proofed

A now weather-proofed shared table and the first-ever dining event in St Fin Barre’s Cathedral are among the events announced today for one of Cork’s best-loved food festivals.

Cork on a Fork Fest is back for 2026, and this year’s lineup is an impressive one and sure to intrigue many Rebel County foodies.

In addition to ticketed events, Cork city centre will become a festival zone with Open Streets markets, music, street theatre, a pop-up farm on South Main Street, a cooking demonstrations marquee on Grand Parade, talks, tastings and more.

From chef collaborations to zero-waste dinners in iconic locations, there’s something for everyone across the city from August 12–16. Here are a few events on the schedule that caught our eye.
