Beer of the week: Smoked Chilli Porter

Heat Sink is a classic Gráinne Walsh beer — geeky pun name, creative use of ingredients and loads of flavour.
The smoke comes from a richly smoked German malt and but does not overwhelm the chocolate and liquorice flavours and nor does the chilli overstay its welcome but add a pleasing heat to the finish.
I will be presenting Heat Sink as part of my Smoke Masterclass at Theatre of Food at Electric Picnic (with Burren Smokehouse) on Saturday at 6pm along with some other smoky treats.
