Beer of the week: O’Haras ‘Opsession IPA, 4.0% ABV, 500ml — €3.30

Seamus O’Hara’s Carlow Brewing Company celebrates 20 years this year and every few weeks they seem to be launching new beers.
Beer of the week: O’Haras ‘Opsession IPA, 4.0% ABV, 500ml — €3.30

Stockists: Matsons, Abbot Ale House, Carry Out, Molloys

The latest in their innovative single hop “Hop Adventure” series is made with a French hop called ‘Aramis’ (to mark the Euros tournament), there is a white IPA due, and their excellent 10% bv Imperial Stout was released a few weeks ago (buy a couple extra to bottle-age is their advice).

Opsession is a straight up session IPA designed for a warm summer and there are plans to introduce it in cans shortly.

Pale gold colour with malt infused pine and citrus aromas, fresh and bright on the palate with some citrus hop character on the finish.
