In these days of so much doom and gloom, particularly among the farming sector, I’m so encouraged to meet so many young people who are leaving the cities to go back to the country to live on the land, not just here but in the UK and US also. 

A recent poll in The Journal found that 53% of Irish people would also prefer to live in the country.
