Coming for auction on Friday, 6th November at the Kilmallock Mart (as well as a simultaneous online auction via the LSLauctions.ie platform) is a brace of properties from the Kilmallock area.
The main feature of the day is a 32-acre holding at Bawntard South, Kilmallock – 2km from the town in the heart of the Golden Vale.
“It’s very good land,” says selling agent Richard Ryan of GVM Auctioneers. “There are no outbuildings with it. There is a water supply but no electricity and there’s a good length of road frontage.”
The guide price for this attractive land parcel is €400,000 (€12,500/acre), in keeping with the prices of similar properties sold in the area.
The second land parcel being sold on the same day (and by the same owner) is a 17.5-acre holding at Deebert, Kilmallock.
“The lands are of excellent quality, all in pasture,” says Richard. “They’re well laid out in easily managed, sheltered rolling fields. The holding benefits from a considerable amount of road frontage and has a mains water supply.
“This is in a very strategic location on the edge of town and we’re guiding €275,000 (€15,700/acre).”
