Located 6km northwest of Watergrasshill and the M8, a 26.8-acre grass holding is new to the market with Fermoy-based auctioneer Paul O’Driscoll.

The property is at Ballybrack, and is set up as an equestrian centre, complete with all the facilities. These include a sand arena, stables, and a lean-to shed. With Cork City only 19km away, and the proximity to the country’s main motorway, it’s in a very accessible location in East Cork.

“The land is all in one block, and divided into paddocks,” says Mr O'Driscoll. “There’s a large open concrete yard and entrance.”

The indoor sand arena covers an area of about 15,000sq ft. It’s constructed of steel frame with single cladded galvanise with an apex roof. The building incorporates the sand arena, as well as toilets and a canteen.

The stable block covers an area of 5,320sq ft. It incorporates 27 stables and comprises a steel frame construction with block walls and concrete floors. There is a single skin cladding on the roof and side walls to the eaves.

The open three-column lean-to is of steel-frame construction with earthen floor.

The price guide is €480,000 (€18,000/acre).
