The holding is at Budrimeen, approximately 5km from Ballineen and the Carbery Group dairy processing plant.
“This is an executor sale,” said selling agent Daniel Lehane. “The land here is top quality — a seriously good farm.
It’s in great condition, with no waste and all in pasture… you’re in real dairy country here and you can see Carbery dairy processing plant from most of the land.”

The outbuildings are, he says, about 100 years old and are in varying states of repair and would all be in need of upgrading.
“One of them was the dwelling house, which has been unoccupied for some decades and has been used as storage,” added Mr Lehane.
“There is also a bungalow — a four-bedroom home that is in need of modernisation. It would be structurally good and it’s a decent size.”
The bungalow is being offered separately on a half-acre lot if there is sufficient interest in it, the agent says, at a guide of €275,000.
The land, meanwhile, is guiding €15,000/acre.
