I have finished killing my 21-month Friesian steers. They averaged 273kg at an average grade of 0-, while fat scores averaged 3-. I was reasonably happy with how their performance panned out as my turnout weights were well behind early in the year and thrive over summer was poor too due to harsh weather.

The dry, mild spell in the autumn saved the day, and I feel cattle did thrive better in September and October than in the June to August period, which just shows how much we are at the mercy of the weather.
