Processors increase milk prices for August supplies

“Dairy commodity markets are continuing to firm, with a noticeable lift in butter prices. Overall the global milk supply outlook remains unchanged and is likely to be flat this year.”

A spokesperson for Carbery said that this increase in milk price is “driven by strengthening markets for cheese and continuing positive dairy market recovery and performance”. 

Tirlán has confirmed it will pay a total of 46.33c/litre for August creamery milk supplies at 3.6% butterfat and 3.3% protein. 

This is an increase of 1.5c/litre on the payment for July.
