What will Hungary's presidency mean for European agriculture?

Hungary's presidency of the EU promises an interesting six months for watchers of EU politics. And farmers will be at the centre of it because Hungary says it will promote "a farmer-oriented EU agricultural policy".
That announcement is being interpreted by some as an attack on the EU's green agenda for farmers, and Hungary using its limited powers as the six-month president to help the farmers who protested furiously in most member states earlier this year.
