Kissane leaves IFA for new role with agribusiness firm
Karol Kissane is the firm's new head of public sector services and economics, effective immediately.
Agribusiness firm Ifac has confirmed the appointment to a new senior economist role.
Karol Kissane is the firm's new head of public sector services and economics, effective immediately. This is a newly created role.
Mr Kissane, a Co Kerry native, is also a dairy farmer and Nuffield Scholar (2018). In addition, he is a chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser.
He joins Ifac from the Irish Farmers' Association, where he was a senior policy executive.
Commenting on the appointment, CEO of Ifac John Donoghue said: “Karol’s experience, skills and expertise are great additions to our senior team.
"He will help our clients to see opportunities and identify risks, and provide relevant analysis and advisory support to our industry-leading network of advisors, surrounding trends in our key sectors of farming, food and agribusiness."
Commenting on his new position, Mr Kissane said he is "looking forward to working closely with my new colleagues to enhance our offering and ensure we continue providing excellent services to our existing and new clients nationwide".
Accountancy firm Ifac has a 30-office footprint and a dedicated team of 500.
