Market demand for supplies for the manufacturing and catering sectors continues to be the dominant feature of the beef trade at the factories.

While a strong supply of prime steer and beef animals is undermining pressure from the suppliers for improved prices, the cow trade maintains its position of strength despite the increase in supply.
