Since 2002, nearly one in three farmers who were dissatisfied with decisions of the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine achieved improved outcomes through the Agriculture Appeals Office.
Of the AAO's 15,466 appeals, 5,605 were partially or fully decided in favour of the concerned farmer.
