While many took the opportunity in January to get slurry out, however, ground conditions have now deteriorated significantly since.

We could badly do with a settled spell so that stock on dairy and beef farms can start leaving sheds. A dry spell is needed so that ground can dry up enough for grazing, slurry and fertiliser application to kick off.
