560 cents/kg is 'the going rate for Angus heifers'

The factories want to get the cattle because they have the markets, which is a good thing.

The exception to the tightening on returns are suppliers of Angus and Hereford. They are in a position to rebalance return after the breed premiums have been increased to 25 cents/kg and 20 cents/kg respectively, which is typically worth €60-€80/head on the qualifying animals.
