27-acre holding in Kerry attracting bids

Mannix Properties of Castleisland, Co Kerry, are currently enjoying a strong level of interest in a 27-acre holding located close to (1km from) the N22, between Killarney and Tralee.
This is a busy stretch of road, and a much sought-after location for dwellings and for good-quality land. This farm, it would seem, offers both.
“The lands around the house are of exceptionally good quality,” says Brendan Mannix of the farm in the townland of Gortatlea, offered in lots or as the entire holding.
Lot 1 consists of a bungalow on 15 acres. The three-bedroom home is in need of modernisation, but is in an idyllic location, according to the selling agents. There is already an offer on this lot.
Lot 2 is 5.16 acres located very near the Lot 1 bungalow, but with its own, separate entrance. This land is mainly of very good quality, with small portions of heavy ground.
Lot 3 is 3.93 acres with direct access from the public road via a 12m-wide passageway. This land is in need of attention, but is good by nature, according to the selling agents.
Lot 4 is 3.62 acres 500m from the N22, with direct road access, with similar quality lands to Lot 3.
There are entitlements with the property, details of which can be obtained from the selling agent. So far, the house on 15 acres is under offer.
With a good road to connect to Killarney (23km) and Tralee (11km), and with Kerry Airport only 9km away, this is a holding that will surely continue to attract further offers over the coming weeks.
