Machinery: Kubota’s steer system speeds up front wheels
When the front wheels exceed a turning angle of about 35 degrees, this system rotates the front wheels at a rate of speed nearly twice that of the rear wheels.
The result is a smoother, tighter turn, allowing easier turning into row work, or easier manoeuvring around livestock yards or buildings.
The new range boasts machines from 90 to 140hp, to build on the success they established with their MGX-II models.
Featuring modern four-cylinder engines, combined with an eight-gear powershift transmission, the tractors can be quickly switched between multiple applications without losing power.
The new range has Intelli-Shift, a smart powershift transmission system, that makes changing gears easier, either automatically or manually.
Kubota have launched the range in five models— M95GX, M105GX, M115GX, M125GX and M135GX.
The manufacturer claims the series is fully equipped to offer farmers increased output and improved productivity, more comfortable driving, and full visibility from its large cab.
Complementing the range, the MGX-III series incorporates two new front loaders, the LA1955 and LA2255.
The torque curve of the MGX-III tractors provides 26% more efficiency compared to the MGX-II, for better productivity and fuel consumption.
There is a front axle suspension option on all models.
The tractor has a low level of noise in the air-conditioned cab.
