Country’s biggest milk buyer Glanbia goes to 30 cent per litre

The country’s biggest milk buyer, Glanbia, took the December manufacturing milk price to 30c per litre last week.

Glanbia Ingredients Ireland (GII) has also introduced a three-year fixed milk price based on 30.10c, and a one-year fixed scheme price of 31.75 cpl.

There has been a positive price signal also in the Ornua Purchase Price Index, passing 100 for the first time since 2015.
