Macroom Buffalo Cheese Products Ltd has won a gold medal at the World Cheese Awards, hosted in San Sebastian, Spain.

An Údarás na Gaeltachta company whose Irish name is Táirgí Cáise Buabhaill Mhaigh Chromtha Teoranta, Macroom Buffalo Cheese Products Mozzarella is made from fresh buffalo milk produced on Johnny Lynch’s farm in Cill na Martra, Co Cork.

He works in partnership with Sean Ferry, who makes Desmond and Gabriel cheeses.
