Speaking at a launch event in Fota Island Resort ahead of the 34th annual show, Mr Kirby said people can expect to see the latest technology featuring among the more than 100 stands.

The show will take place at Green Glens Arena, Millstreet, Co Cork, on Saturday, October 22.

Mr Kirby thanked hosts, the Duggan family in Green Glens, the show’s sponsors for their support, and IFA president Joe Healy for speaking at the launch. He also welcomed handler judge Jane Arrell from Northern Ireland and cattle judge Meurig James from Wales.

“The event is attracting an ever increasing demand for trade stand space,” he said.

“Attendees will get to see a great variety of technology and engage with trade personnel about what is relevant to their present and future needs and facilities.”
