Late farm payments cheques fuel hardship says Pat McCormack

Farmers in private contract clause, partnership or company structures are facing hardship due to late farm payments, said ICMSA’s Pat McCormack.

The ICMSA wants Agriculture Minister Simon Coveney to seek pre-Christmas payment for farmers who submitted documentation six months ago.

“The department encouraged partnership and it is disgraceful the treatment these farmers are receiving at present,” said Mr McCormack.
