A ‘top-class’ tillage farm of 85 acres in Waterford

Enjoying a combination of river and road frontage on the very edge of the Tipperary/Waterford border, an 85-acre livestock/tillage farm, in the Waterford townland of Kilnamack West, has recently come on the market with Ballinhassig, Co Cork based auctioneer, Christy Buckley.

Situated just 7km west of Clonmel, within a crook in the course of the River Suir, this farm is described as containing “top class, easily-worked, level land, within easy reach of Clonmel town.”

The holding also benefits from some centrally-located modern outbuildings, including modern cattle-handling facilities.

“This property is the best of land,” says Christy of the farm, which has a price of €1,000,000 (€11,800/acre).

There are no entitlements going with the property, but its natural divisions mean that it would lend itself to sub-division.

Even though the owners’ preference is to sell it in one lot, offers for different parts of it are not being ruled out.
