Glanbia commits to sustainable milk price

Senior IFA executives have urged Glanbia to support their suppliers until the milk price situation returns to sustainable levels.

IFA president Eddie Downey and dairy chairman Sean O’Leary met with Glanbia and GII chairman Henry Corbally and CEO Jim Bergin yesterday.

The IFA group restated the anger voiced by suppliers at Glanbia’s decision to cut 1c off its September milk price to 24c/l including Vat.
