Farmers urged to challenge fuel hikes

Farmers were urged, yesterday, to continue challenging suppliers to justify ongoing fuel price increases.

IFA Inputs Project Team chairman, James McCarthy said increasing fuel prices continue to impact on the competitiveness of the farming sector.

The wide variation in prices, across the country, is highlighting the importance of farmers shopping around when buying fuels such as agricultural and car diesel.
