Cattle marts report: Kilmallock sales were €1.5m on Monday, but buyers say store prices are easing

I’m a right pity this week, as I attend the marts. My right hand is broken, and I can no longer pick up the odd little calf, as I go about my mart reporting business.

There is nothing I like better than to return home from a mart with some bargain in the back of the jeep.

But alas, my bargain hunting days are over for a spell.
