Taoiseach opens Belview
Having run the first milk through their new nutritional ingredients plant at Belview near Waterford City last December, Glanbia Ingredients Ireland hosts Taoiseach Enda Kenny and EU Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development Phil Hogan today for the official opening.
Ministers Richard Bruton and Simon Coveney also attend.
Belview is the largest infrastructure investment and single largest dairy investment (€180m) in the state’s history.
Last week, Glanbia reported a 6.9% increase in revenue, totalling €3.5bn for 2014. Group MD Siobhain Talbot said the outlook for 2015 is 9-11% growth in adjusted EPS.
