Dan Kelly’s Cider gains key German listing
The cider producer has gained a listing with Manufactum, a German retailer specialising in high quality handmade consumer goods and household articles.
Manufactum sells 8,500 products via its online store and eight stores located in Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Cologne and Frankfurt.
Dan Kelly said: “As a small family business, we are delighted to be doing business with Manufactum. This could not have happened without the help of the Access 6 Programme, the Irish Exporters Association and Green Seed Germany.”
Dan Kelly’s Cider is made from apples from Boyne Grove Fruit Farm, Co Louth. It is participating in Access 6, an EU export programme to help border region SMEs in Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland gain entry to Germany.
Nicole Günther, Green Seed Germany, said: “Our initial analysis identified Manufactum as a good retail outlet for premium suppliers. We are excited about this opportunity and were delighted to help companies with marketing assistance and logistical support.”
