Property: Coastal property sure to draw buyer interest in Youghal
The property, in the townland of Tinnabinna, straddling the Cork/Waterford border, just a few hundred metres from the famous bridge at Youghal where the Blackwater River enters the sea and about 6km from the heritage seaside town.
The residential holding is currently being offered in two lots consisting of 41 acres of land and a second consisting of the house and 6.5 acres. Interest is already strong on both, according to Youghal-based selling agent Noel Mackey.
The quality land is laid out in a mixture of tillage and grass and is expected to achieve in the region of €12,000/acre, according to the agents.
The house is in need of some modernisation and the package of the house plus outbuildings and 6.5 acres of land should see bids in the region of €200,000.
“There’s good local interest in the property,” says Mr Mackey, “as well as interest from outside the area.”
The property enjoys ample road frontage, has a good water supply and may end up going to auction at a later date.
