Farmers will gain access to expert advice on their GLAS plans when 80 agricultural advisers are recruited for Teagasc offices nationwide.
Teagasc seeks experts to advise farmers on GLAS

FRS Network (Farm Relief Services) is to recruit the 80 advisers as part of a rollout of advice services to Teagasc farmer clients. They will advise farmers on the Green Low-carbon Agri-environmental Scheme, GLAS. There will also be some administration roles.

FRS chief executive, Peter Byrne, said: “We are delighted to provide this service for Teagasc and have set all wheels in motion to recruit the highest calibre of agricultural advisers.”
