Chunk of land up for auction

Situated between the Knockmealdown and Galty Mountains in south Tipperary, the property is in a picturesque setting near Clogheen village and close to Cahir, Clonmel, and neighbouring Mitchelstown, Co Cork.

Laid out in a single block of 38 acres and with 0.5km of road frontage, the attractive holding has six fields in permanent pasture, and the ruins of a two-storey farmhouse with a range of outbuildings centrally located, including a three-bay slatted fattening unit and cattle crush.

The farm enjoys a full electricity connection and its own water supply in all the fields. The south-facing land also has access to the River Duag and can serve as a standalone unit or a fully serviced out-farm. Auctioneer John Stokes is quoting an AMV of €230,000 (just over €6,000/acre) but the final price may be considerably more.
