Bring centres will open from 9:30 am to 3:30pm at selected venues.

Farmers can bring waste to these centres, where it will be collected and transported to a hazardous waste facility for disposal or recovery.

All wastes being disposed must be clearly identifiable. Wastes which cannot be identified will not be accepted.

Farm plastics such as silage wrap, fertiliser and feed bags, and clean triple rinsed pesticide containers will not be accepted.

The bring centres in Munster are at Dungarvan Mart in Co Waterford on Tuesday, November 18; Kanturk Mart in Co Cork on Thursday, November; and Abbeyfeale Mart in Co Limerick on Tuesday, November 25.

For more information, visit the www.teagasc.ie/events/  web page. The bring centres are operated by Teagasc, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine, and local authorities.
