Herdwatch is the only cross-platform mobile service approved by the Department of Agriculture, allowing farmers to register calves directly from compatible smart-phones, tablets, laptops and PCs, anytime and anywhere, according to FRS Network (Farm Relief Services).

The farmer-owned co-op says this mobile herd manager service has gone through a successful testing phase since it was announced at the Ploughing Championships. They announced the cost of an annual subscription at €99 (incl VAT), with a month free on special offer in March.

Designed to help livestock farmers stay compliant (single farm payment and Bord Bia), Herdwatch has an integrated to-do list and a visual indicator of any overdue tasks, such as recording remedy purchases and usage.
