Animal mortality comes as standard in ICMSA-endorsed insurance policy
FarmForce represents the best farm policy in terms of value-for-money in the Irish market, and comes with a substantial discount for ICMSA’s 18,000 members.
Designed specifically for dairy farmers, ICMSA says the inclusion of animal mortality as standard, and not an addition or special bonus feature, gives it a substantial edge on many of the farm policies against which it will compete.
ICMSA president John Comer said: “We have been concerned for quite a long time about the costs of farm insurance and we have actively investigated the mechanics of putting together a policy that met most perfectly the needs and affordability of our members. We are satisfied that FarmForce meets those requirements perfectly and in a cost-competitive way.
“We’re also satisfied that Campion is the kind of company that ICMSA is happy to co-operate with: their reputation precedes them and we have received strong assurances about the level of service and diligence that our members are entitled to expect and which we are confident that Campion will deliver.”
Campion Insurance, one of the state’s leading largest brokerages with over 150 employees, is the sole company offering the FarmForce policy.
Offering farm insurance for the past 30 years, the company already has over 3,000 farm clients. Its farm business is driven by its Cashel outlet.
John Comer added that ICMSA was only interested in companies or services that offered perceptibly better deals or savings to its membership.
