Instead of counting bales saved for the winter, users can count kgs of fodder baled.
A terminal in the tractor cab shows the weight of each bale, within a maximum error margin of 2%, based on the deformation of the frame of the wrapping table.
The system allows the user to monitor yields, and to adjust the press chamber to obtain an homogeneous weight, if required.
The measurement of the weight is made before the bale is wrapped, while the machine is stopped, when the door of the bale chamber is closed.
The Krone Comprima CV 210 CV is nominated for an innovation award at next week’s Space agricultural show in Rennes, in Brittany, France.
Awards for the winning innovations will be presented next Tuesday, the first day of the show.
