Horticulture growers to showcase best of Irish at GLAS trade fair
Supported by Bord Bia and organised by Mediateam on behalf of Kildare Growers Group, GLAS will showcase the best of Irish horticulture.
The event will also attract quality trade buyers through a networking programme for nurseries to maximise face-to-face time between buyers and sellers.
Among those attending the launch of the event were Brendan Guilfoyle, secretary of the Kildare Growers Group, and Carol Marks, development and marketing specialist, horticulture, Bord Bia.
Wiet Rentes, chairman of the Kildare Growers Group, was also present with a new plant being introduced to the market, Rosa Flowercarpet ‘Sunset’, which will be launched at the show along with 12 other plants.
