Happy campers gain funding

A tourism development on a farm in Drimoleague in west Cork has been approved by Environment Minister Phil Hogan for €198,972 of funding under the Rural Development Programme.

He has given sanction to West Cork Development Partnership Ltd to approve the funding to David and Elizabeth Ross to develop an enterprise consisting of a campsite and ancillary building accommodation and walking centre.

The funding is provided under the Diversification into Non-Agricultural Activities measure of the Rural Development Programme 2007-2013.
