Farming groups call for yes vote in second ballot on joint venture plan

Farmer groups are guiding members who are Glanbia shareholders to vote ‘yes’ in next Wednesday’s joint venture vote in Gowran Park Racecourse, Co Kilkenny.

The IFA was instrumental in co-op members giving 71% approval from for phase one of Glanbia’s joint venture proposal.

IFA president John Bryan said the deal was fair, and clears the way for further consolidation in Irish dairy processing.
