Reseed your pastures this spring & significantly improve farm income

Many farmers complain about the cost of purchased animal feed and fertilisers when they could easily minimise the cost of both simply by reseeding about 15% of their land each year.

Yet only about 25% of landowners reseed on a regular basis.

According to Teagasc expert Michael O’Donovan in Moorepark you recover your expenditure on reseeding within two years. He says dairy farmers are losing €300/ha as a result of old pastures and such fields are 25pc less responsive to fertilisers.
