Up to 10 cent off lamb prices

First signs of some pressure on the lamb trade have emerged in the quoted prices for this week at the factories.

While farmers are adamant that there is no justification for any downward price adjustment in a market of tight supply and strong demand, some processors have dared to cut the quotes for this week.

About half quoted prices back by 5 to 10 cent/kg from last week, while the remainder were unchanged.
