Following last week’s successful Inchigeelagh auction, will there be a similar result for this 44-acre farm at Terelton in Co Cork?
Tom Heffernan of Sherry FitzGerald Hinchion is selling the farm, for the Herlihy estate by auction on February 7 next and gives a guide of €260,000 for the entire.
The property has ‘one long stretch of silage ground’, he says, with about 20 acre of excellent land and another 10 acres in small fields, with the remainder suitable for planting or reclamation.
The property has good road frontage and will appeal to local farmers looking to expand — for that purpose, the agent is prepared to sell in lots.
