A BOOK you can dip into at any time for advice when faced with a farming problem — that’s what dairy farmers have available now, following the launch of the Teagasc Dairy Manual.

It is for sale at the dairy conferences, but can be ordered at any time for postal delivery.

The manual is designed to be dipped into by the reader to address issues as they arise during the year. It has been produced in waterproof, tear-proof paper, with strong ring binding, so it can be taken out of the farm office or kitchen without fear of it being damaged by wear and tear in the parlour, or even the field.
