Prime Carrigaline 46-acre holding back on market

THERE’S a bit of history with the planning at this holding in Carrigaline, but at the price level, it may be worth the punt.

Prime Carrigaline 46-acre holding back on market

The 46-acre holding is back on the market with a revised price guide through Michael Piggott of Sherry FitzGerald O’Donovan Daly auctioneers.

He’s selling in the entire or in lots which include 12.5 acres, a derelict cottage, and 33.5 acres of grazing land.

The house and 12 acres were the subject of a planning application, but the agent says there is the likelihood that a third-party buyer may get planning in respect of the ruin. He is not, however, prepared to sell on that basis, pointing out that at the guide price of €150,000, the property is only marginally over land price levels anyway.

And the location will certainly tempt — it’s just three miles from Carrigaline on the Fountainstown side, and the seaside is only a hop, skip and a jump away.

The remainder of the land is good quality, level grazing ground with plenty of road frontage, says Piggott, and he guide prices it at €300,000.

The entire is guide priced at €450,000.
