Livestock and trade exhibition

KILKENNY members will help out, and will be on the Macra stand, at the Emerald Expo 2011 livestock and trade exhibition at the Hub/Cillin Hill Mart complex in Kilkenny on April 29 and 30.

Launched as a showcase for the dairy industry and supported by the Irish Holstein Friesian Association in association with Alltech Ireland, the expo will start on Friday at 1pm with a trip to the Greenfields dairy farm site near Kilkenny, stockjudging, and a barbecue. On Sunday, Kilkenny Macra will be hosting their county stockjudging competition, alongside a national stock judging competition for all Macra members, which will start at 2pm.
