Tempting price for residential holding

AN AUCTION rendezvous looms today for a 54-acre residential farm at Glounaglough, Rylane, in mid-Cork.

With an old fashioned house needing work, this is a bit of a project, but many buyers might have change left over for a house refurb, because the guide price at €5,000 to €6,000 an acre puts this all-in package in the €300,000-plus bracket.

Selling agent is Tom Heffernan of Sherry FitzGerald Hinchion, who will wield the auction gavel this afternoon in Macroom’s Castle Hotel.
