94-acre farm with 55 acres of outstanding grazing

A 94-acre farm at Meelin, Newmarket, Co Cork, is a new private treaty sale by auctioneer Sean Daly.

The property at Rowels has 65 acres of good quality grazing ground, of which some 55 acres are outstanding.

The property includes 29 acres of forestry, which will bring in an income of €5,000 per annum for the next ten years, and the farm has €20,000 in entitlements.

The non-residential sale includes a modern cattle shed for 50 head, and the farm has mains services and is well fenced, says Daly.

Six miles from Newmarket, 10 miles from Charleville and 15 miles from Newcastlewest, the property is accessed via a cul-de-sac road, and has been let for this year.

It would suit as an outside farm, Sean Daly says, or could sell to neighbouring farmers – for whom he’s prepared to sell in lots.

The guide price given for this private treaty sale is €500,000, and the agent says he’s open to offers.
