Home-bred qualifier wins top title

The reserve champion in the prestigious Limerick Show equine feature was Gorey Show qualifier Mildred, a chestnut filly by Powder Blade out of Never Walk Alone, exhibited by Cecilia Delaney, Colbinstown, Co Kildare, and bred by Michael Kenny in Carnew, Co Wicklow.

Michelle McNamara, Shinroe, Birr, Co Offaly, won the Limerick Matron prize, with her exhibitor-bred four-year-old bay by Lady Lariat, by Golden Lariat out of Surprise Lass.
