Ideal add-on or hobby Kerry farm
The grass farm had been on the market by private treaty, but now the agents feel it’s time to bring the executor’s sale to a head, so they’re auctioning the property on April 29 next at the Killarney Royal Hotel. Located a mile and a half outside of Currow, the property would have been flagged as having development potential before:
“Long ago we’d have been pushing the development potential,” says Tom Spillane, “but that’s not there in the short term, so we’re selling a farm in the middle of Kerry with 60 acres of land – some of it good and some of it not great,” he adds.
And the joint agents have taken the option of public auction to dispose of the farm in one lot only. The property is a residential sale with an old farmhouse in need of renovation and a range of outbuildings which could be used as a planning permission, or reconstructed. Close to Killarney, the property comes with good road frontage and would make an ideal add-on for a local farmer or as a good hobby farm.
