Two farm sales to set benchmark

TWO farms, both part of the same estate, are due up for auction tomorrow as part of an executor’s sale at the New Park Hotel Kilkenny. According to agent Ed Donohoe of ERA Donohoe Properties, the sales will set a benchmark for land in the area.

“The auction is really going to test the market for property in the Kilkenny area. It’s important in that it’s going to be a benchmark for land and the farms are some of the finest pieces to come up here for a long time. There’s been a great deal of interest from far and wide and the auction on Friday will tell a lot.”

The farms, at Ballinamona and Rathbourne, Co Kilkenny offer 33 acres and 152 acres, respectively, and are being sold by Ed Donohoe of ERA Donohoe Properties.
