McGuinness claims commercial championship at Cappamore Show

NINE counties were represented among 20 qualifiers who lined up for the GVM All Ireland €2,500 commercial championship at last week’s Cappamore Show in Co Limerick.

The top prize went to Gareth McGuinness of Drogheda, Co Louth, with the awards for second and third places going to Robert and Mark McGivern, Carrigtwohill, Co Cork.

Cappamore’s reputation as a showcase for quality dairy and beef entries was further enhanced at this year’s show by some 400 entries.
