Fair price for EU milk production

EUROPEAN milk producers have followed the lead of Third World farmers by launching a fair trade-style certification for milk.

Consumers can already buy their certified Fair Milk in Austria, reassured that the farmers it came from were paid enough to meet their production costs.

The European Milk Board (EMB), representing dairy farmers across the EU, now plans to put Fair Milk on sale across Europe.
